Project Discovery

Every project is exciting for us, and gathering information is where we begin. Within our conversations and site visits, we determine the following:

Project area: How much space do we have?

Site orientation: What equipment faces the sun? Which areas need shade? Is there proper drainage?

Site access: How does foot traffic reach the area? How do wheelchairs? Can we safely get heavy equipment into the area for deliveries and construction?

Age Range: What ages will be using the equipment?

Accessibility: What are the needs of people with disabilities in your community?

Budget: What is the total budget for equipment, freight, and installation of your project? Is site preparation required? How can we help your wish list meet your budget?

Time Frame: When is your project set to open? How will your project need to be managed, so that we can best coordinate equipment and services?

Custom equipment: Do your plans include making your project unique to you?

Answering these questions and more set the parameters for your project.

We often collaborate with landscape architects for commercial spaces, including schools, city parks, and other larger projects.

Site Visits

ExerPlay representatives are Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certified, and can help assess new or existing sites. We can inspect your existing equipment, or break new ground. We will take photos, notes and ask a lot of questions. Contact us for a site visit.

Design

Design is an exciting part of your project: ideas take shape, and you will have the first views of our collaboration! Design is an essential step in keeping a project on budget.

In design, we draw from your wish list while considering safety requirements, traffic flow, and play value. Design is where we address specific accessibility requirements. Then, we can render your design in any of our bright, bold, and inspired color palettes; the possibilities are endless!

Design is also the stage for implementing custom items, from custom Digfuse panels to theme destination parks.

At this stage, we provide you with 2Ds, 3ds, and a quote. When you approve your design, we procure pricing for freight, installation, and any other associated costs. We work through this process until you are 100% satisfied with the design, budget, and time table.

Our discovery and design processes are entirely complimentary.

Purchase

ExerPlay offers simple and convenient purchasing options. Existing customers have Net 30 terms, and new customers are just a short credit application away from getting things rolling. We also have many purchasing contracts that you can use. Please contact your Sales Representative for more information.

Find Your Local Rep

Build

Once we process your order, we begin scheduling your equipment delivery and any associated installation. Your sales rep will coordinate and communicate specifics to you, working to fit any deadlines that may be in place. Right now many of our manufacturers are facing supply and freight issues, but we are working with them to coordinate the tightest projects we can.

Shade, custom structures, and metal shelters can take the longest, so we consider equipment shipping schedules with the building timeline of the project where possible. All of our installers are factory and CPSI certified, and carry required certificates and insurance.

Project Closeout

We tighten every bolt and inspect every inch of our equipment. Our Sales Team and installers are CPSI certified, and we can provide 3rd party inspection services as required. It's a heartfelt moment for us to hand you the "keys" to your new playground, and watch you open up your space to your community!

A Life-long Partnership

The completion of your playground is just the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term relationship. We provide product warranties and maintenance kits for playground structures and troubleshoot any problems you may have. As time passes, we can evaluate parts for warranty replacement (call or email us) and we arrange speedy replacement of damaged or vandalized parts.

We can provide safety and maintenance training for you or your staff, and we offer CEU courses for our professional associates.

We have had the privilege of retrofitting older (and still impressive) equipment with newer components and play-extending independent equipment- some 25 years on and more. We're with you for the life of your equipment!
