As we begin our 10th year of operations in Nevada, we are thrilled to celebrate one of our first projects in Clark County.
When Olympia Sports Park opened in Clark County, Nevada nearly ten years ago, the goal was straightforward: build a play environment that reflected its desert surroundings, served the whole community, and held up long after the ribbon cutting. A decade in, it’s still delivering on all three.
Designed for the Desert, Built to Last
From the very first conversation with Clark County, the goal was clear: don’t just place equipment. Create something that belongs here. We worked alongside the community at every phase: consultation, design, and installation, because the best results come from staying in it together from the start.
The GFRC (glass fiber reinforced concrete) rock features mirror Nevada’s natural desert terrain, softening the line between built environment and landscape. Shaded decks above the formations create endless pathways that wind underneath and around, the kind of layout that keeps kids moving, exploring, and coming back for one more lap. It’s also the perfect setup for a game of hide and seek.
A Play Structure Built for Every Kid
The 5–12 age play structure anchors the space in cool silver and tangerine, a palette that still pops. Net climbing configurations challenge kids across ability levels. A tangerine Loop Arch climber draws the eye and the adventurous. A Corkscrew Climber gives adventurers a challenging ascent, then sends riders spinning to the ground. The SwiggleKnots Bridge tests children’s grip and balance, while the springboard balance element rewards patience and persistence. Two belt swings offer that timeless physics-fueled joy and a track ride gives kids the wind-in-the-hair thrill of flight. Ten years of daily use later, every element is still doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Shade for Playgrounds: Designed From the Start
In Nevada’s desert climate, shade isn’t an amenity, it’s a prerequisite. Triangular shade sail structures in a hexagonal formation deliver maximum coverage with clean lines and beautiful symmetry, which elevates the site rather than just sheltering it. A steel ramada with picnic tables extends the covered area into a genuine gathering space, the kind that invites families to stay, connect, and come back. Nearly ten years later, the shade structures are still one of the first things people notice.

Built for the Way Little Kids Play
The 2–5 age play area carries the same denim, cool silver, and tangerine palette beneath the same canopy. A double slide, tube tunnel, and sensory panels with rolling marbles and musical chimes let little ones explore, learn, and experience thrills made just for them.
A Decade of Community
We’ve always believed that play spaces are about more than play. They’re where communities gather, where kids take their first risks, where childhood moments happen that people carry for many years later. It’s an honor to help create play spaces like these and watch the space thrive for decades after the ribbon cutting. Olympia Sports Park was one of our first in Clark County, Nevada. It remains one of the clearest examples of what’s possible when a community moves together.
